"People of the South Wind"
Categories-
- * Dust in the Wind- Items woven for the home, functional or decorative
- * Dancing on a Breeze- Items woven using 8 shafts or more
- * Colors of the Wind- Wearable woven items
- * Borne Upon the breeze- Items made with ‘Prairie Winds’ Conference Yarn. Items must include at least 50% of the conference yarn, and any technique may be used.
- * Twisting in the Winds- Handspun skein of yarn, at least 100 yards
- * Throw Caution to the Wind- You are only limited by your imagination!
Guidelines-
- * Each entrant may submit up to 4 items
- * Entry Fee- $5 for a single item, or $10 for 2 or more items
- * All items must be made by entrant and may not have been shown at previous MWC
- * Entries must be ready for display (i.e.- ready to hang)
- * All work must be delivered and picked up by the artist. No work will be received prior to or shipped after the conference
Awards- Three awards will be given in each category. Those winning awards will receive points toward earning the MWA’s Fiber Artist of Distinction Award.
