Swatch Swap - Prairie Patchwork

Everyone is invited to participate in the 2013 swatch swap, "Prairie Patchwork". The Swatch Swap is a great way to get involved in the conference regardless of your skill level. Exchanging swatches will provide you with interesting examples to spark your imagination and add to your sample collection. Put on a little longer warp for your next project and you will have your samples made in plenty of time! For those of you who are not able to come to Kansas, the swatch swap is an opportunity to still participate in the "Prairie Winds" Conference. One swatch from each participant will be joined together to create a lap size quilt. Chances to win this quilt will be sold at the conference for a donation, with all proceeds going to a charity to be decided. Thank you to Kay McCoy for taking on this project!

Weavers: Prepare 25 samples for each category. The woven swatches should be 4x4-inches with raw edges finished by glue, Fray Check, or machine stitching. Record the weaving draft and other pertinent information on the Record Sheet. Attach each swatch to a Record Sheet. Please tape the reverse side of the staples to avoid snagging other samples.
