MOPACA Invitational Alpaca Show
Location: American Royal/Hale Arena - Kansas City , MO
Calling all alpaca fiber artists!! Let’s show off our North American Natural Alpaca Fiber. The spotlight at the 2012 MOPACA Invitational Alpaca Show will be focused on fiber and we need you to help showcase our fiber in the Fiber Arts and Skein Competition. Last year, the Fiber Arts display shared the spotlight in the show rings with the animals themselves, highlighting the incredible beauty of our products. It was such a success that we are duplicating the venue again…looking to double our entries this year. We can’t do this without entries, so an invitation has been extended to anyone who wants to be part of this show. Spin, knit, weave, crochet, felt and ENTER!! See how many ribbons OUR Guild can bring home!!
Demonstrators are also needed for the fiber ring – can you spare a few hours in Kansas City, MO to demonstrate your craft? You are welcome to hand out business cards and network with customers, public and alpaca breeders. Vendor spaces are also available. Registration ends March 9th, 2012. Event: 7th Annual Lake Area Fiber Arts Festival
The Lake Area Fiber Arts Guild sponsors an annual festival to encourage the public and fiber enthusiasts to appreciate the beauty of fiber arts and how these are practiced by individuals live in the lajke area. The Festival will be held at Harper Chapel United Methodist Church in Thompson Hall, 5567 Osage Beach Parkway, Osage Beach MO 65065 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday April 28.
