Scholarships

Scholarships are available for attending the Midwest Weavers Conferences.

The Jack Baker Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship honors the memory of long-time friend and board member of MWA, Jack Baker. This scholarship covers registration, room and board for a weaver with less than 5 years experience.

Midwest Weavers Association Scholarship
There are several of these to cover the conference registration fee.

To apply for scholarships please send a letter explaining the role weaving plays in your life and why you would like to attend a Midwest Weavers Conference. Please include which scholarship you are applying for, your name, address, phone number and e-mail. Your application letter should be mailed before March 1 of the conference year. Applications for the Northern Wefts Conference 2011 in Houghton Hancock, MI will be accepted from now until 3/1/2011.
